My first portrait of jae.. I think? The reference picture was this tiny thing from a single's booklet. His face is partially cut off because that was supposed to be his arm but I chose to just focus on the face. Call it my random artistic attempt.
The line of japanese is part of Asu Wa Kuru Kara lyrics. Materials used: -carbon pencil for outline -charcoal 6B, 4B, and 2H -aqua net hairspray to hold charcoal. Jae is one of my absolute favorite people to draw. Gorgeous being with unique features that are oddly asymmetrical. A beautiful contradiction of a face. ..wow I got poetic there. Again, 'white series' means that there's more than one, so there was also a 'su' portrait in this style as well. As soon as my friend (who owns both pieces) takes a picture of the 'su' portrait, I'll post it as well. Although, this portrait was drawn more than a year ago, so don't hold your breathe. |
